Kenneth Meisler, DPM, is a podiatrist bringing more than four decades of experience in foot and ankle care to Kenneth Meisler, DPM, PLLC & Associates. The highly regarded physician serves people of all ages living in and around the Upper East Side of Manhattan in New York City. Dr. Meisler began his career pursuits at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in New York City, earning his medical degree. Before entering private practice, Dr. Meisler completed a podiatry residency at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. Around the same time, Dr. Meisler and his wife Laurie developed an interest in running marathons. That inspired him to join The Preventive and Sports Medicine Center, founded by Norbert Sander, MD, a sports medicine specialist.Together, Dr. Meisler and Dr. Sander treated thousands of athletes, addressing common foot problems like plantar fasciitis, bone spurs, and fractures. Dr. Meisler then launched his own practice, which he built through word of mouth and stellar reviews. It’s now one of the largest and most respected podiatry practices in New York City, treating a wide range of podiatric concerns. When he isn’t meeting with patients or developing treatments, Dr. Meisler serves in several other capacities. He’s co-chief, division of podiatry at New York Downtown Hospital, and he holds staff privileges there as well as at New York Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medical Center and Mount Sinai Medical Center (all in New York City). Outside of work, Dr. Meisler enjoys running marathons, playing tennis, and golfing. He’s also an avid horseback rider who loves the great outdoors. Dr. Meisler welcomes anyone experiencing foot or ankle problems to his self-titled practice today.

Dr. Latoya Haskin, born and raised in New York, earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology at St. John’s University in 2003. In 2007 she attained a Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine at Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She served as a first year Podiatric Medicine and Surgery resident(PMS-36) at Our Lady of Mercy Medical Center,and completed her last two years of residency at Beth Israel Medical Center,where she honed her leadership skills as Chief Resident in her third year. In 2010, Dr Haskin was accepted in to a wound care fellowship at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center. During the fellowship, she received certification in hyperbaric medicine. One of the highlights of her fellowship was presenting an abstract case report entitled, “The efficacy of Ultrasonic Debridement on a Chronic Foot Ulcer” at the world renowned Diabetic Global Foot Conference in Hollywood, California. Since completing the fellowship, Dr Haskin has worked in various capacities, including Hyperbaric Attending at Maimonides Medical Center.

Dr. Karen Silver has been in practice over 25 years and is a graduate of Boston University as well as the New York College of Podiatric Medicine, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. She was also a member of the Pi Delta National Honor Society and the recipient of the Steven Sefer Goodfellow Award for her “exceptional contributions and service to the college.” Dr. Silver is a Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and did her surgical residency at West Essex General Hospital in Livingston, New Jersey. “I love talking to and getting to know my patients and their families over the years, and I also enjoy helping feet look and feel better via non-surgical methods, if possible.” Dr. Silver completed two NYC Marathons (PB 3:33) and In her free time she takes flute lessons as well as ballroom dance and salsa. She is also an avid dog lover.
